The Beacon City School District Wellness Committee will host a Family Fitness Night at Beacon High School from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 3rd. The program is designed to promote fit, healthy lifestyles for children and the parents/guardians of the district’s elementary age students.

The event will take place in the gymnasium, cafeteria and community room at the high school, and will include four separate 25-minute segments in which families will be encouraged to participate in a variety of physical activities planned by local organizations, including Obercreek Farm, ISK Karate, Dancing Tree Yoga, Beacon Recreation Department, Boy Scout & Girl Scout Troops of Beacon, the Beacon High School dance and cheer teams and the district’s elementary school physical education teachers.
